Mr And Mrs D Mullins 16 The Mead, Clutton, Bristol, Bath And North East Somerset, BS39 5RQ O 21/05/2019: Objection to erection of a two story detached dwelling and reconfiguration of parking area

We again object to the building of a two story detached dwelling and reconfiguration of parking area.

We still believe this will have a huge impact on our outlook, even with the building being lowered by another half a metre and being move slightly further from our boundary (these are all very small amounts). The light shadow assessment doesn’t give a true representation of the suns latitude throughout a full year. We still believe the building would cause us an immense loss of light.
Our boundary fence was moved slightly more onto our garden due to a new fence being erected by us. We did note that the previous old council metal boundary had been removed, so our fence is being used along with our additional ground, which was between our fence and the original council boundary ground as a boundary. We are concerned that this would be undermined and or tampered with along with the front shared path at the front of our house.
We feel that the potential building on the small plot would cause a great hazard on Station Road for all road users including people/vehicles entering and exiting The Mead, with large vehicles servicing this property. But it would also adversely effect us personally as a family with noise, dust, and loss of privacy.
We sense there still wouldn’t be sufficient parking for both 15 The Mead and the proposed dwelling, which would cause crowded parking directly on Station Road.
We do not understand the need to squeeze a dwelling onto such a small plot, when there are plenty of houses currently being built at the Maynard Terrace development and a newly proposed development on the A37.
